“Today you are the media, it is your duty to report and keep the hope alive,” - Mir Hossein Mousavi, via Facebook.
Internet access is spotty, several websites have been shut down, and cell phone/text messaging is also next-to-impossible. Yet the Iranian revolution continues as snippets of information slip through inside the country and around the world. It appears that governments still have some ability to contain the media, but they can't fully control it. While this happens in Iran now, one wonders what might take place in Russia or China in the coming years. As their people become more connected to the rest of the world, their governments may begin to lose their grip.
